Poster Cut Neue is a hand-drawn, rough display font family. Having some retro grotesque sans serif inspiration, the characters give an informal and active look and feel. The imperfections keep it casual but it is still legible. This font is ideal for organic and natural applications where a more human touch is required with branding, packaging, headlines, posters, advertising, illustrations, titles, and more.

Simply switch between upper and lowercase letters for a uniquely drawn glyph, adding variety and helping avoid repetition. Underlined vowel stylistic alternates (PUA-encoded) also add visual interest to your typography.

An image found online of the first [1923] “Oreo Sandwich” package provided a type inspiration from the pen-lettered block sans with rounded corners used for the product’s name.  Prior to 1923, the cookies were sold in boxes or tins. 

The result is Packaged Cookies JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Foolish Talk is a roundish, tasty and delicious font. Kinda like something from the bakery, but without the calories! It has a comical look to it, but it could easily be used for organic products or even your next skateboard event poster! It’s drawn with a fine marker, and I did some cleaning up here and there, but I left enough details for the font to stand out as truly handmade!
